What is Power Mode?

The power mode setting allows you to change your rig or device TDP. The thermal design power (TDP), sometimes called thermal design point, is the maximum amount of heat generated by a computer chip or component (often the CPU or GPU) that the cooling system in a computer is designed to dissipate under any workload. Lowering the power mode will lower your device's energy (electricity) consumption.

Power Mode can be set for the entire rig, meaning TDP will be the same for all devices. Or you can set power mode for each individual device if you open rig details.

• Low power mode will set the TDP to 60%.
• Medium power mode will set the TDP to 80%.
• High power mode will set the TDP to 100%.
