What is NiceHash Custom ASIC Firmware?

NiceHash Firmware powered by MARA is a custom ASIC firmware that optimizes the performance and efficiency of Bitcoin, Kaspa, and Scrypt miners. This firmware introduces advanced auto-tuning features that dynamically adjust power and hashrate targets, tailored environment profiles for various cooling methods, and intelligent thermal protection to prevent overheating. With NiceHash Firmware, miners benefit from precise control over their hardware, achieving peak efficiency and stability, while benefiting from up to 20% increased performance. Additionally, users enjoy low fees;

  • Bitcoin (SHA256) miners have a 2% fee for standard use and 1.4% when mining on the NiceHash pool.
  • Kaspa (kHeavyHash) miners have a dynamic fee ranging from 1% to 4% depending on the overclock level and can only use the firmware to mine on NiceHash. 
  • Dogecoin (Scrypt) miners have a 2% fee for standard use and 1.4% when mining on the NiceHash pool.

The firmware is installed via custom software called NiceHashTools, which allows batch installations across mining farms and streamlines the upgrade process.
