The system may auto-cancel orders that are inactive for a long period (due to a very low price) or mostly dead (placeholder orders). Our system calculates the dead/alive ratio for each order. Orders that are mostly dead (>50% of the time) are considered placeholder orders and are auto-canceled. The remaining Bitcoins, as well as the remaining service fee, are refunded. An order is dead when it loses connection to the target pool (either the target pool terminates the connection or the target pool has issues with the connection). Ensure that you select a stable pool to ensure that your order is alive most of the time.
An order is not dead if it is not hashing (no miners on order) as long as the connection is still alive (target pool OK), but when the target pool loses the connection, our system starts to count the dead time ratio.
