On the NiceHash Hashrate Marketplace, multiple buyers can simultaneously compete for the same algorithm. To decide who receives available hashrate first, NiceHash uses an automated sorting system based on price, timing, and order conditions.
🚀 EasyMining and Business orders always take precedence over Standard orders. All further rules apply equally within each category.
Orders are sorted primarily by price per unit of hashrate (highest first). When prices are equal, older orders stay higher in the list.
Miners switch to better-paying orders gradually, rather than instantly, to prevent frequent disconnects and restarts that could destabilize their mining operations.
Inactive or “dead” placeholder orders are automatically moved to the bottom of orders with the same price. This favors active new orders over old inactive ones.
If you lower your limit hashing speed, your order’s position is reset to the bottom of the same-priced orders. This discourages low-speed placeholder orders and ensures fair queueing.
Higher price = higher priority.
Same price = older order first.
Orders below the minimum price threshold are ignored.
| Order type | Sorting & behaviour |
|---|---|
| Fixed order | Guaranteed hashrate delivery for a set duration. Always prioritized above Standard orders of the same algorithm and region. |
| Standard order | Dynamic bidding. If another buyer offers a higher price, your order moves down in the list. |
