NVIDIA RTX 3050 specs and mining hashrate
NVIDIA RTX 3050 will be released on the 27th of January 2022. It is supposed to replace the most used budget cards like GTX 1050 and 1650. RTX 3050 is a GPU that has enough horsepower to satisfy all low-budget games. The MSRP is $249, which is very appealing, but we have already learned in the past year that MSRP prices tend to increase even by 50% or more before hitting the retail shelves.
NVIDIA RTX 3050 specs:
| GPU | Cores | Mem. Size | Core Clock | Mem. Clock | Mem. Type | Bus Width | Mem. Speed | Bandwidth | TDP |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GA106 | 2560 | 8 GB | 1552 MHz | 1750 MHz | GDDR6 | 128 bit | 14 Gbps | 224 GB/s | 130 W |

NVIDIA RTX 3050 mining performance
Currently, there are no hashrate reports yet. We can only guess the performance of the RTX 3050 based on the specification and the RTX 3060 performance. RTX 3050 should perform somewhere around 15-20 MH/s or around 23 MH/s with partial LHR unlock.
UPDATE: We can confirm that the initial RTX 3050 hashrate is 12 MH/s on DaggerHashimoto (Ethereum) algorithm. But we cannot confirm if partial LHR unlock was used.
Other hashrates per algorithm are:
BeamV3 - 14.4 Sol/s
CuckooCycle - 4 G/s
Octopus - 21 MH/s
RTX 3050 does not feature an LHR unlock yet and only works with NVIDIA 511.xx drivers.
