Škorjanc Family Donates To Cancer Treatment
Thanks to all of our NiceHash users worldwide, H-BIT (part of the NiceHash ecosystem) was able to purchase and donate a CAR-T device, used for treating blood cancer, to the Ljubljana Clinical Center. The funds for the donation of the CAR-T cell therapy device were raised in a campaign by the Slovenian Association of Patients with Lymphoma and Leukemia. The donation was part of a campaign of over 4000 donors to purchase two devices, one of which was bought by the Škorjanc family.
About 450,000 euros was donated for the equipment, and Martina Golob, director of the company, was present at the ceremony for the handover of the donation.
Martin Škorjanc, the CEO of NiceHash, said that they decided to donate because they want to share and help those in need. NiceHash CEO, Martin Škorjanc, says they also wanted to thank all health workers who showed their courage during the pandemic.
"We were touched by the hardships of life of our fellow human beings", said Škorjanc. According to him, money is not everything, but it's bad if you do not have it and consequently cannot get the treatment that you need.
We would like to thank each and every one of our NiceHash users for continuing to support us, as this donation would not have been possible without you.
