NiceHash at Bitcoin Asia 2026: Bringing Bitcoin Mining to Hong Kong
The NiceHash team was in Hong Kong for Bitcoin Asia 2026, bringing more than a decade of Bitcoin mining experience to one of the industry’s key gatherings in the region.

Live Bitcoin mining with EasyMining
Throughout Bitcoin Asia, we introduced attendees to NiceHash EasyMining, demonstrating live how anyone can participate in real Bitcoin mining without owning or operating mining hardware.
With EasyMining, users access hashrate through mining packages and can mine Bitcoin solo or together with others through Team Mining. There are no ASICs to buy, no electricity contracts to manage and no mining infrastructure to maintain.
In Hong Kong, attendees could see the process first-hand - from entering an EasyMining package to watching the hashrate work live.
For a region with such a strong connection to the history and development of Bitcoin mining, bringing EasyMining to Hong Kong was a natural fit. It gave us the opportunity to show how access to mining is evolving and how the experience can reach far beyond traditional mining operations.

Building a profitable Bitcoin business
Our CFO, Martina Golob, took the Bitcoin Asia stage with her keynote, “Building a Profitable Bitcoin Business – When to Invest, Save or Expand.”
Rather than talking about building a Bitcoin business in theory, Martina shared the NiceHash story and some of the decisions behind more than a decade of operating in one of the world’s fastest-moving industries.
She spoke about different stages of the company’s journey, why NiceHash decided to move its headquarters to Switzerland, and what it takes to build a sustainable business through changing Bitcoin market cycles.
There is no simple formula.
Knowing when to invest, when to preserve capital and when to expand requires precise business decisions - particularly in an industry shaped by Bitcoin price cycles, rapidly changing technology, regulation and mining economics.
Since 2014, NiceHash has had to make those decisions repeatedly. Martina's keynote offered a look behind that journey and some of the lessons learned along the way.

From Bitcoin mining to corporate financial strategy
Martina's second appearance in Hong Kong brought the mining perspective into a broader conversation around corporate Bitcoin strategy.
At the Bitcoin for Corporations Symposium, she joined the panel “Financial Strategy, Liquidity & Risk” alongside John Cahill, COO – Asia at Galaxy Digital, Freddy Mann, Head of Business Development at Arch Lending, and Emma Shi, Head of OTC at HashKey Group.
Martina brought a perspective that comes directly from NiceHash's position as a hashrate marketplace: we see both sides of the market - the miners selling hashrate and the funds, treasuries and operators buying it.
More than a decade of mining experience, brought to Asia
The conversations we had in Hong Kong reflected how much the Bitcoin industry has evolved.
Mining, institutional adoption, corporate Bitcoin strategies and financial infrastructure increasingly intersect - and NiceHash operates directly within that ecosystem.
From live Bitcoin mining with Easy Mining, to sharing the NiceHash business story on stage, to discussing the economics, liquidity and risks behind Bitcoin mining, Hong Kong brought together many of the areas NiceHash has been working on for more than a decade.
For NiceHash, Bitcoin Asia wasn't just about looking back at what we have built. It was about where Bitcoin mining goes next - and bringing that conversation to Asia.
