This year, the world’s largest Bitcoin conference happened at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Bitcoin 2022 saw anywhere from 25,000 to 30,000 visitors during its 4 day run from 6-9 April. Of course, NiceHash could not miss an event of such magnitude! In this article, we will look back at our participation in the event.

Industry Day - 6 April

The industry day was packed with business men and women from all over the world! We were able to have deep conversations with industry leaders and met with some of the best developers.

Below is a picture of the developer OhGodAGirl, who visited our booth at the end of the industry day. She shared her insights on the crypto industry and gave some thoughts about Ethereum 2.0. We are eager to invite her for a future NiceTalk show, so stay tuned!

General Admission - 7 & 8 April

The General Admission (GA) days were when the true fun started. There was a significantly larger number of visitors during these two days. Some barely knew what Bitcoin or crypto mining was, while others were running farms with hundreds of thousands of ASICs! Most people were there on a mission. To learn more about crypto, to find solutions to some of their problems or simply to connect with other like-minded people.

During the GA days, there were also many NiceHash users coming to visit our booth. It was a truly wonderful experience to engage with our miners and help them figure out what they could do to increase their profits, to maintain their hardware or even to give them insights about the current state of cryptocurrency mining.

Many are still looking into investing in cryptocurrency mining and NiceHash is the perfect service for this - be it for ASIC or GPU mining!

The last day of Bitcoin 2022 was marked by a music festival titled Sound Money. Two enormous stages were live, so you only had to choose which songs you liked the most. Not always the easiest decision to make.
