NiceHash, a global hashrate marketplace and one of the most recognized names in the cryptocurrency industry, proudly announces Saša Čoh as its new CEO. This transition marks an important milestone in the company’s 11-year history.

A new chapter for NiceHash 

Saša Čoh has been an integral part of NiceHash since 2017, serving as Senior backend lead engineer, Chief Technology Officer, Head of Operations, and distinguished board member.

He played a key role in building the company’s infrastructure, expanding its services, and maintaining operational excellence. Saša holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Maribor and has held senior technical positions at several international companies.

With over 25 years of experience in software engineering, blockchain, backend systems, and organizational leadership, managing large teams and executing complex projects precisely, he brings technical and strategic expertise to guide NiceHash into its next era. 

Beyond his professional endeavors, Saša is an active advocate for the Bitcoin Lightning network, demonstrating a keen interest in its integration and exploring future use cases. His passion for emerging technologies and forward-thinking approach continues to inspire his colleagues and peers in the industry.

This leadership transition follows the departure of Vladimir Hozjan, who served many years as CTO, followed by a position as CEO since January 2024. 

Under his direction, the company expanded its platform, strengthened its market position, and further solidified its reputation as a trusted player in the global crypto ecosystem.
