Introducing Plugins with the new NiceHash Miner - 1.9.2.10

Dear NiceHash miners!

Today, we are releasing two new versions of NiceHash Miner. One for the OLD platform and one for the NEW platform. If you missed our announcements about the new NiceHash platform, please learn more here.

Download NiceHash Miner Legacy 1.9.1.10 for the OLD platform here.

Download NiceHash Miner 1.9.2.10 for the NEW platform here.

Both versions bring the following changes:

  • NHM.DeviceDetection check if NVIDIA OpenCL backend is enabled (important for miners that use NVIDIA OpenCL backend e.g. lolminer)
  • Updated miner plugins binaries:
    - BMiner v15.7.4 (external)
    - GMiner v1.53 (integrated)
    - LolMiner 0.8.5 (external)
    - NBMiner 24.2 (integrated)
    - nanominer 1.5.2 (external)
    - TeamRedMiner v0.5.6 (integrated)
    - WildRig 0.18 (external)
    - XmrStak 2.10.6 (integrated)
    - ZEnemy 2.00 (external)
  • Remove miner bins list `nhm\miner_bins_urls.json`. Each miner plugin holds this in `nhm\miner_plugins\Plugin\internals\MinersBinsUrlsSettings.json`.
  • Fixed GrinCuckarood29 units.

Introducing Plugins

Integrated miners are part of NHML (old platform) and NHM (new platform). Miners labelled as external are not part of NHML by default (old platform) and to use this feature you have to use NiceHash Miner for the new platform.  External miners can be downloaded through the Plugins menu (click Plugins button in NHM). Soon you won't have to download an entirely new NiceHash Miner version to update 3rd party miners. You will be able to update each 3rd party miner separately in the Plugins section.

How to report NiceHash Miner bugs?

Please attach log files (located in "logs" folder) when submitting a customer support ticket. Tickets can be submitted here.

Important guidelines for using NiceHash Miner (Legacy):

  1. NiceHash Miner (Legacy) is usually flagged by AV (anti-virus) software. This is normal, as almost every mining software on the market is blacklisted by AV. Just make an exception in your AV software to enable the proper operation of NHM(L).
  2. You may have to add an exception in your browser to enable NHM(L) download. Learn how.
  3. We cannot guarantee for every 3rd party miner code thus you agree to use it at your own risk.
  4. We suggest you don’t use cryptocurrency wallets or have any access to any cryptocurrency, sensitive or important data on the same computer where you use NHML. NiceHash will never ask or use your private keys, but we cannot guarantee the same for the 3rd party miners included in NHM(L) now or any time in the future.
  5. Add an exception to Windows Defender for the NiceHash Miner (Legacy) folder (after you unzip the package).

Thank you for your support!

Your NiceHash team!
