TechEx Global Expo 2022 was held this week in London

A large two-day technology exhibition and conference called TechEx Global Expo 2022 was ended in the UK capital today. The expo included few co-located events, including Blockchain Expo Global. NiceHash team was attending the event and participated in discussions on future of blockchain and digital assets. We were also glad to present our new EasyMining service that allows to mine in solo and support the blockchain ecosystem without having to buy mining equipment.

NiceHash OS v2 Alpha release

The new Ubuntu-based NiceHash OS v2 is now on Alpha and available to download for tests. NiceHash OS (NHOS) is an operating system that loads from a USB flash drive and runs in computer memory. The last NHOS v2 Alpha has a lot of new features, including CPU mining support, remote overclocking, automatic profit switching, etc.

Note that this is an Alpha version and bugs are to be expected. This is the best time for NiceHash users to share their feedback and impact the development of this new linux mining OS. To learn more, please read our NHOS v2 User Guide.

Dogecoin price rose amid Elon Musk's post on Twitter 2.0 plans

Last Sunday, Elon Musk tweeted a presentation slides on Twitter 2.0 updates. Against the background of this publication, the price of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency increased by more than 15 percent. There was no direct mention of Dogecoin in Musk's post, however, it is likely that some investors assumed the further integration of the cryptocurrency as a possible payment method in Twitter.

SEC has included some crypto assets initiatives in its Strategic Plan

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has published its Strategic Plan for the fiscal years 2022-2026. Among a number of goals, it's noted that the SEC must 'continue to effectively collaborate with other regulators, and engage more proactively on digitization initiatives. (...) The SEC must also continue to enhance its expertise in, and devote increased resources to, product markets beyond equities — including crypto assets, derivatives, and fixed income — and maintain a nimble and flexible approach to address market changes expeditiously.'
