How to set up a NiceHash Miner Scheduler?

Let's say that we want to set a NiceHash Miner to mine everyday from midnight to 8 in the morning only from monday to friday:

  1. Enable the Scheduler toggle
  2. Enter from (00:00) and to (08:00) times in the text boxes. From is the time when NiceHash Miner will start mining and To is when the mining will be stopped.
  3. Select the days you want the time slot to be used. In our case, we want the mining to be active from Monday to Friday.
  4. Click on ADD NEW TIME SLOT button

You can see the new time slot in the Schedule Slots. These time slots are active if the Scheduler toggle on the top is enabled.

NiceHash Miner Scheduler FAQ

Scheduler is active, but the mining does not start

There are five possible reasons why the mining did not start:

  • Scheduler toggle is not enabled - Make sure the toggle is enabled.
  • There are no active time slots - Did you press the ADD NEW TIME SLOT button?
  • The time intervals that start or stop the mining are run every minute - If you set a scheduler to start mining at 15:00, the mining can actually start at 15:01 because of the cron job that checks the time.
  • The time on your PC is not synchronized - Synchronize the time in Windows settings.
  • Mine regardless of profit is disabled - Mining is not profitable based on your settings.

What time format is used with the scheduler?

You need to use the following time format: hh:mm  which would look like: 15:45

Can I use multiple time slots?

Yes, you can use as many time slots as you want.

Does the "Mine Regardless of Profit" setting work with the scheduler?

Yes, if the mining will not be profitable based on the electricity price, mining will not be started inside the time slots. Profitability of mining overules the scheduler.
