Dear NiceHash users!

As you might already know, Ethereum Classic will be hard forking on block height #11,700,000 which should happen on Saturday, November 28, 2020. You can read more about Ethereum Classic Improvement Proposal (ECIP 1099) here.

The ECIP 1099 brings two key changes to Ethereum Classic:

• The algorithm will be changed from ETHash (DaggerHashimoto) to ETChash.
• DAG size will be reduced from 3.94 GB to 2.74 GB

Notification for buyers

We have decided to not support the ETChash algorithm on NiceHash. Buyers placing orders on DaggerHashimoto marketplace and directing the hashing power to Ethereum Classic pools will sustain 100% reject shares from the pool side. However, buyers will still pay for all the shares sent from NiceHash to the pool.

Notification for miners (sellers of hash-power)

Graphic cards with 4 GB of VRAM or less will continue to not be supported on the DaggerHashimoto algorithm due to Ethereum's DAG file size.
