Bitdeer SealMiner A4: specs, electricity costs, and what it earns
Bitdeer launched the SealMiner A4 series on April 7, 2026 — three SHA-256 machines built on their SEAL04 chips. The flagship A4 Ultra Hydro hits 9.45 J/TH, a solid jump from the A3 generation's 12.5–14 J/TH. Pricing and shipping aren't confirmed yet, so some of what follows is an educated guess — labeled as such.
SealMiner A4 Specs
| Model | Hashrate | Power | Efficiency | Cooling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A4 Ultra Hydro | 886 TH/s | 8,373 W | 9.45 J/TH | Hydro |
| A4 Pro Hydro | 680 TH/s | 7,412 W | 10.9 J/TH | Hydro |
| A4 Pro Air | 336 TH/s | 3,662 W | 10.9 J/TH | Air |
±10% tolerance on hashrate and power, ±5% on efficiency. The Pro Air is the entry-level option — no liquid cooling infrastructure needed.
SealMiner A4 Earnings
At current payrates (SHA256ASICBOOST, April 8, 2026), the A4 Ultra Hydro earns approximately $24.90/day gross. Check the NiceHash profitability calculator for live numbers — they move with hashrate demand on the spot marketplace.

NiceHash typically pays above standard FPPS pool rates because buyers compete for your hashrate in real time. On a machine at this level, even a 2–3% premium adds $17–22/month per unit.

A word on efficiency and obsolescence
The Pro Hydro and Pro Air run at 10.9 J/TH vs the Ultra's 9.45 J/TH. Less efficient machines hit their break-even electricity price faster as difficulty rises and get pushed offline sooner. A long ROI on a less efficient machine is riskier than the same number on a more efficient one — it may simply not have the runway to complete it.
The Pro Air at ~$2,000 is the exception — low enough entry cost that payback happens fast enough to matter less. At $0.06/kWh you're looking at roughly 12 months.
