Notification for buyers

Dear NiceHash buyers,

Network hashrate for some coins using various algorithms available at NiceHash has increased. This pushed up the difficulty and lowering BTC/H/Day prices for hash power orders on these algorithms. In order to make bidding for hashing power on these algorithms more accurate and competitive, we are changing the measurement units for the following algorithms:

If you're a buyer you'll have to take this change into account while placing new orders!

The switch to new units is going live on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 12:00 PM CEST. Please update your API setting accordingly!

Existing orders, which will be placed and not completed before the switch will be automatically converted to the new units - no action will be required from you. However, if you have some automated applications/scripts, utilizing automatic placement of new orders, you'll have to change them accordingly to make them compatible with the new units.

All web page views/functionalities for DaggerHashimoto, Decred, CryptoNight and Sia algorithms will be changed, including but not limited to:

  •       algorithms table
  •       order list
  •       order details
  •       new order
  •       API methods: stats.global.current, stats.global.24h, orders.get, orders.get&my, orders.create (price, limit), orders.set.limit, order.set.price

Please keep in mind that this change applies only to beforementioned algorithms, all other algorithms will be unaffected.

This action does not affect miners using NiceHash Miner (or NiceHash Miner Legacy) or ASIC miners connected to NiceHash in any way.

Thank you for using our service,

Your NiceHash team.
